President Biden confused onlookers at a press conference at an emergency meeting of NATO in Brussels, Belgium on Thursday. Watch:

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,” Biden said at his press event. ” No. Yeah. One final question. Right.”

“Hey, wait, hold on a second, please,” he went on. “I was supposed to be an hour ago at the European union meeting and to, to speak now and I’m thanking you. So since I’m going to, haven’t called on before you… Who are you?”

Biden would take the question and then proceed to his meeting, which he confessed he was an hour late to attending.

President Biden once again made it clear that he is not the one calling the shots in his own administration after pulling out a notecard and announcing that he would call on predetermined reporters.

“Since there are so many people out there and I’ve been given a list,” he said. “Now, how about Chris of the Associated Press?”

Earlier, he appeared to be late for the NATO group picture, as well, leaving onlookers wondering where he was at.

President Biden was noticeably late to the group picture and it appears that U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson was among those missing Biden’s absence.

Biden, nonetheless, is a shrinking figure on the world stage nowadays.

Earlier, reporters hurled questions at the president, who promptly ignored them. Watch:

“Biden arrives at NATO, but refused to take questions,” RNC Research tweeted. “Most other world leaders took questions.”

Fox News’ Jacqui Heinrich reported that the White House press pulled out the stops to keep him from answering questions.

“Pooled press attempts to ask President Biden a question as he walks to G7 leaders photo op with Japanese PM,” Heinrich reported. “White House official swats press away, saying ‘no no no no no’.”

She had earlier reported that Biden is the only world leader “who has not stopped to speak to press so far.”

The emergency meeting was the first of three major events on Biden’s calendar Thursday. Biden will also meet with the G-7 group and European Union officials. If he ever gets there.
