AOC Doubles Down on Nasty Smears After Cruz Calls Her Out for Her ‘Almost Had Me Murdered’ Claim

Radical Democrats are feeling emboldened by the ridiculous double standards when it comes to political speech in this country.

While former President Donald Trump can be impeached for a political speech where he merely called for people to “peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard” and to “fight” for their country, the Democrats feel free to ratchet up the political rhetoric to extreme levels of vitriol perhaps last seen during the American Civil War, or perhaps, the early 1900s.

Indeed, such is the case with reckless radical firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who actually accused a sitting Senator of wanting to see her “murdered” because he disputed the 2020 election results.

“I am happy to work with Republicans on this issue where there’s common ground, but you almost had me murdered 3 weeks ago so you can sit this one out,” she tweeted in response to Cruz’s agreement on political issue. “Happy to work w/ almost any other GOP that aren’t trying to get me killed. In the meantime if you want to help, you can resign.”

Ted Cruz had a calm and measured response, as reported by a Hill pool and forwarded along by a Roll Call reporter.

“You know, there’s a lot of partisan anger and rage on the Democratic side,” he coolly responded. “It’s, it’s not healthy for our country, it’s certainly not conducive of healing or unity, but everyone has to decide how they want to interact with others.”

This was apparently too much for the drama queen to bear. She lashed out and doubled down on her abhorrent invective.

“Oh, there’s anger?” she huffed. “Now why would there be anger that Cruz amplified known lies about our election that fueled an insurrection that cost ppl’s lives? What does he think the logical response to his lies should be? A hug? Maybe there’s anger bc his actions deserve accountability.”

She couldn’t let it go and kept railing on.

“We need healing + unity, but I will not take any responsibility for my actions, nor will I acknowledge the contributions my lies made to the violence or the harm that it caused, nor do I believe anyone should be held accountable,” she retorted. “But if you’re mad at that you’re divisive.” – GOP

The reason she is being divisive is because her reckless smears are completely baseless and is being done for no other reason to rile up the base and potentially distract us from other issues, such as Biden’s destructive executive orders that assault the energy industry, or even the anti-competitive actions taken by Wall Street to retaliate against retail stock traders.

There were no “capture and kill teams,” despite earlier reports to the contrary, amd the Democrats themselves objected to presidential elections in 2000, 2004 and 2016. Yet Republicans don’t run around accusing Democrats of literally plotting to see them “murdered.”

It should be abundantly clear to Americans who is stirring the pot of anger and resentment in this country. Hint: It is the party that AOC belongs to.
