AOC Explains Why She Had ‘Invisible Handcuffs’ on at Her Faked ‘Arrest’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also known as ‘Sandy’ to some and AOC to her fans, instantly became the subject of ridicule when she appeared to don ‘invisible handcuffs’ at what was undoubtedly a staged arrest outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, AOC claimed that the video showing her faking ‘invisible handcuffs’ was a ‘conspiracy theory’:

But both Ocasio-Cortez and her sassy Squad sidekick Omar showed up for cameos at the Democrat-produced public temper tantrum, only to be marched away in the ‘invisible handcuffs.’ It was all captured on video.

The Capitol Police announced 34 arrests, including 16 members of Congress. The USCP provided no mugshots or evidence the Democrats were anything but ceremoniously detained before being let back into the wild to spread their insipid brand of radical hullaballoo.

Tucker Carlson had a field day with the ridiculous spectacle on his primetime show ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’:

“So today, several of the feistier members of Congress that would include Sandy Cortez and Ilhan Omar, both famous on Instagram, decided to block traffic in front of the Supreme Court,” Tucker began. “‘Cause ‘girl power’ means blocking traffic.”

“And that’s when police officers did something they’ve never done before,” he continued. “Those mean cops put both Sandy Cortez and Ilhan Omar in invisible handcuffs and led them away with their hands behind their back. You’re seeing those images on the screen right now.”

“Now, several media outlets picked up these images as proof that Sandy Cortez and Ilhan Omar are deeply oppressed,” Tucker added. “For Sandy Cortez, the trauma was real. Totally. It was her lived experience. She was wearing a coat in 90 degree heat. It’s just the latest harrowing tale of Sandy Cortez’s tenure in Congress. Her life since Boston University. You may recall that nearly a year and a half ago, she almost died.”

As explained earlier about this phony melodrama — it was all staged. How do we know? Because Ilhan Omar’s communications/strategy adviser Jeremy Slevin, also arrested with the Democrats, gave the game away prior to the arrests.

“Members of Congress, including Ilhan Omar will be participating in a civil disobedience at the Supreme Court, potentially including arrests, shortly. 1 PM ET/12 PM CT,” Slevin wrote.

So, after Ocasio-Cortez once again found herself the subject of public ridicule, she had no choice to proffer an explanation for her bizarre behavior.

“No faking here,” she claimed in response to Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina. “Putting your hands behind your back is a best practice while detained, handcuffed or not, to avoid escalating charges like resisting arrest. But given how you lied about a fellow rape survivor for ‘points,’ as you put it to me, I don’t expect much else from you.”

Sandy just can’t help herself. She has to play the victim card whenever she gets called out for her juvenile nonsense. This is the radical left’s playbook today: Spread failed ideas under their discredited brand of ‘progressivism’ and play the victim card to dodge accountability whenever those ideas inevitably lead to complete disaster.

So, those ‘invisible handcuffs’ AOC was wearing as she was frogmarched back to her air-conditioned quarters? It’s the perfect trope to symbolize the socialist left’s imaginary ‘oppression’ in America.
