Former President Obama has made an announcement: He’s got Covid.
He made the announcement in a tweet on Sunday afternoon.

“I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative,” he said.
“It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down,” he said.
Obama’s fans rallied to his side to recover from the Common Cold variant.
You’re praying hard for him to recover from a scratchy throat?

Obama also made sure to spread disinformation about the vaccines.
“Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted,” the former President said in a Facebook post. “It’s a good reminder that, even as cases go down, you should get vaccinated and boosted if you haven’t already to help prevent more serious symptoms and giving COVID to others.”
Vaccines do not, contrary to any media claims or ‘fact checks’ to the contrary, stop the spread of Covid-19.
CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, in a rare moment of honesty, admitted that vaccines don’t stop the spread of Omicron in January.
“Our vaccines are working extremely well. They continue to work well in regards to delta in severe illness and death and prevent it,” the CDC director said. “What they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.”
A Harvard-led study published at the National Institute of Health found in a multi-national and interstate analysis that vaccines are entirely unrelated to Covid case rates.
“At the country-level, there appears to be no discernable relationship between percentage of population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days (Fig. 1),” the study found. “In fact, the trend line suggests a marginally positive association such that countries with higher percentage of population fully vaccinated have higher COVID-19 cases per 1 million people.”
The study also makes an interesting point about U.S. counties with extremely high vaccination rates: “Of the top 5 counties that have the highest percentage of population fully vaccinated (99.9–84.3%), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identifies 4 of them as ‘High’ Transmission counties.”
Millions of Americans are praying for Barack Obama to have a speedy recovery. And he will. Because Omicron is a “generally mild” variant and he is presumably fully vaxxed, double-boosted, and full of it about the vaccines.
