BREAKING: Driver Intentionally Runs Over People at Texas Migrant Shelter, Killing at Least 7 Victims

Tragedy struck in Brownsville, Texas, when seven people lost their lives, and six others sustained injuries in a horrific incident on Sunday morning.

According to the police, a Range Rover SUV intentionally ran over the victims while they were waiting at a bus stop near a migrant shelter in the city.

Though bystanders managed to restrain the driver before the police arrived, the motive behind the attack remains unknown. The suspect is currently in custody, and an investigation is underway.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and local authorities have expressed their condolences to the families of the victims. The names of the deceased have not yet been released, and the injured are being treated at local hospitals.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the Brownsville tragedy has been identified as a Hispanic male and taken into custody, Fox News has reported.

Police have confirmed that the suspect is currently receiving treatment at a hospital and being monitored under 24-hour guard. Authorities are conducting tests to determine if the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident.

Brownsville Police Department Commander, Ray Sandoval, revealed that the driver has been arrested for reckless driving and that additional charges are forthcoming. Sandoval also stated that investigators are now treating the incident as intentional.
