CNN Sound Alarms About Biden’s Polling Numbers “Lowest for Any American President at This Point in Their First Term”

CNN’s Kate Bolduan recently broke down the latest Washington Post/ABC News poll on President Joe Biden’s approval rating and hypothetical 2024 match-ups. Let’s just say CNN is already sounding the alarms.

“In the first real snapshot, if you will, of President Biden’s standing since his reelection announcement, voters are saying he has real work to do,” she said. “And that’s even among his own party.”

“A new Washington Post, ABC News poll found that 58% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents that they want the party, their party, to nominate someone else,” she continued.

“Biden’s overall approval rating remains underwater as well,” she added. “36% approval, according to the Washington Post, ABC News poll.”

“That’s the lowest for any American president at this point in their first term,” she went on. “That’s dating back to Harry Truman.”

CNN reporter Arlette Saenz also raised concerns about Biden’s abysmal polling numbers.

“It does show some challenging figures for President Biden as he’s just under two weeks into his reelection campaign,” Saenz said.

“One of the concerns that voters have expressed have to do with his mental sharpness,” she added. ““If you take a look at this poll, only 32% of voters said that the president, who is 80 years old, has the mental sharpness to serve effectively.”

“Compare that to former President Donald Trump, where only 54% of voters said that the former president, who is 76 years old, has the mental sharpness to serve effectively,” she noted.

As recently reported on Trending Politics, Biden is currently being “crushed” by Donald Trump in a new Harvard/Harris poll.

“According to the poll, Trump’s popularity has soared, with an astonishing 47% of respondents expressing their unwavering support for the Republican leader over President Joe Biden,” the report said. “This marks a remarkable increase of 7% compared to previous surveys. In stark contrast, Biden finds himself trailing behind, with a mere 40% of respondents backing his presidency.”
