Former President Donald Trump had plenty to crow about after the FBI accepted the resignation of a Special Agent in Charge (SAC) who oversaw some of the most politically charged investigations of the Trump era.
“The fired agent who was just escorted out of the FBI headquarters is the person who got the FBI to do a Raid on a home, Mar-a-Lago, that has ‘stirred’ the World and created anger and hostility toward the FBI and DOJ the likes of which have perhaps never been seen in our Country before,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Monday. “The ‘Special Agent’ In Charge of the unprecedented and unnecessary Raid and Break In of Mar-a-Lago, who concealed the partisan nature of evidence to secure the FBI’s approval to open an investigation into the 45th President in the first place, was also involved in the hiding and suppressing from the Public and the Media, the ‘Laptop from Hell,’ the 2020 Presidential Election Scam, and so much more!”
The 45th President also pointed to a report from Just the News regarding the agent’s departure.
“Wow, I assume this ends the Fake Witch Hunt?” Trump wrote. “The ‘Special Agent’ In Charge has been removed from his post based on his concealing the partisan nature of evidence presented to secure the FBI’s corrupt investigation into the 45th President of the United States, me, which culminated in their unprecedented and unnecessary Raid and Break-In of my home, Mar-a-Lago. Thank you to the FBI for taking this important step toward sanity!”
Special Agent Timothy Thibault abruptly resigned on Friday, as the Washington Times originally reported.
“A senior FBI official in the bureau’s Washington field office has abruptly resigned after coming under congressional scrutiny for suspected political bias in handling the investigation of Hunter Biden’s computer laptop,” the Washington Times reported.

“It is unclear if Mr. Thibault, a 25-year FBI veteran who was on leave for at least a month following revelations about political statements he made while leading the public corruption unit, left on his own accord or was forced out,” the report added.
Trump also said cryptically that the FBI’s Agent in Charge was misled by “CBS Fake News.”
“The Agent In Charge of the FBI investigation got his information from CBS Fake News, which turned out to be, as usual, WRONG,” Trump wrote. “Nobody said that to ‘MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN’ was going to be easy!”
Thibault also had a track record of “political bias” while mishandling Trump investigations.
“Former Special Agent Thibault was accused of displaying bias in his handling of politically sensitive investigations, including the criminal investigation of Hunter Biden’s laptop and FBI probes of former President Donald Trump,” Just the News reported.
“Whistleblowers alleged that Thibault concealed the partisan nature of evidence from FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland to secure their approval to open an investigation into former President Donald Trump,” the report added. “That investigation culminated in the FBI’s raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this month.”
In late May, Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) sought “Justice Department records regarding the work history of a senior FBI official following revelations of his apparent political bias on social media channels.”
Donald Trump also called for the the 2020 election to be nullified based on confirmed reports of FBI interference, as was recently verified by Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta/Facebook, in an explosive interview with Joe Rogan.
“So now it comes out, conclusively, that the FBI BURIED THE HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY BEFORE THE ELECTION knowing that, if they didn’t, ‘Trump would have easily won the 2020 Presidential Election.’ This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country. REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!”
