President Biden has apparently lost the news media lapdogs that usually carry water for the Democratic Party, no matter the lie. Last week, Biden claimed he visited the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh after a 2018 white supremacist terror attack that killed 11 people.
“It was, I remember, spending time at the, you know, going to the, you know, the Tree of Life synagogue, speaking with them,” Biden claimed.

The president’s claim was exposed as a lie when he was outed by the executive director of the synagogue.
“Barb Feige, executive director of the Tree of Life, said that Biden did not visit the synagogue in the nearly three years since the anti-Semitic attack,” the New York Post reported. “In a phone interview, Feige, executive director since July 2019, said firmly that ‘no’ Biden didn’t visit, even before taking office when he had a lower public profile as a former vice president and then-Democratic presidential candidate.”
Even CNN jumped on the bandwagon of debunking Biden’s blatant lie. Watch:
“President Biden is taking heat for falsely claiming that he visited the Pittsburgh synagogue attacked by a mass shooter, when he never actually went there,” CNN’s Kate Bolduan said.
The White House later tried to ‘clarify’ Biden’s remark, albeit it too late. The damage was already done.
“A White House representative said Biden was referring to a phone call he had with the Tree of Life’s rabbi in 2019,” WPXI reported. Rabbi Hazzan Jeffrey Myers, of Tree of Life, confirmed the call in the following statement:
“President Biden kindly called me on my cell phone as I was sitting in Dulles Airport awaiting a return flight to Pittsburgh after I testified before Congress in July 2019. In a heartfelt way, he extended his condolences and asked how we were doing. We spoke about the challenges of antisemitism, and he made clear he would confront it with us as president. The conversation meant a great deal to me, and I will always be grateful for his kind words and continued support of our community.”
This is much like the “fact check” put out by the USA Today attempting to discredit Gold Star Family members’ accounts that President Biden looked at his watch multiple times during the dignified transfer ceremony.
The USA Today story claimed as a matter of fact that “the full video of the dignified transfer ceremony shows Biden honored each of the fallen U.S. service members.” You’re going to have to forgive the American people if they take the side of Gold Star family members‘ who said Biden ‘disrespected’ the memory of their slain children.
