Jen Psaki Adds Fuel to the Fire with Embarrassing Admission About Biden’s Cuba Statement

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki had an embarrassing admission about President Joe Biden’s controversial statement on the Cuba uprising issued on Monday.

It did not come from him personally. Watch:

“We, of course, are monitoring closely, you saw the statement the president — we put out in the president’s name this morning, in his voice of course, conveying his support for the people of Cuba,” Psaki said.

The problem is that statement from “Joe Biden” was a vaguely worded and misleading statement that veiled what the Cuban people are revolting against.

“We stand with the Cuban people as they bravely assert their fundamental and universal rights, and as they all call for freedom and relief from the tragic grip of the pandemic and from the decades of repression and economic suffering,” the Twitter statement says.

The full statement says: “We stand with the Cuban people and their clarion call for freedom and relief from the tragic grip of the pandemic and from the decades of repression and economic suffering to which they have been subjected by Cuba’s authoritarian regime. The Cuban people are bravely asserting fundamental and universal rights. Those rights, including the right of peaceful protest and the right to freely determine their own future, must be respected. The United States calls on the Cuban regime to hear their people and serve their needs at this vital moment rather than enriching themselves.”

This carefully crafted response is missing two words: Socialism or Communism. This inherently “authoritarian” economic system is responsible for the economic hardship, suffering, and repression of the Cuban people.

It compounds the problematic statement from a State Department official on Sunday.

“Peaceful protests are growing in #Cuba as the Cuban people exercise their right to peaceful assembly to express concern about rising COVID cases/deaths & medicine shortages,” Julie Chung, the Acting Assistant Secretary for U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs, tweeted. “We commend the numerous efforts of the Cuban people mobilizing donations to help neighbors in need.”

Whether it was the situation in Honduras in 2009, Iran’s Green Revolution that same year, or the real reason for the attack on an American embassy in Benghazi, Libya in 2012, the Democratic Party has a history of obscuring the truth of foreign developments in a way that benefits socialists and other tyrants. The Biden administration is really turning out to be “Obama’s third term.”
