L.A. Firefighter Responds to ‘Vaccine Mandate’ with a Vulgar Act of Defiance That is Just Hilarious

An L.A. firefighter responded to the city’s “vaccine mandate” with a vulgar act of defiance that many Americans might find apropos — and hilarious.

“The Los Angeles Fire Department is investigating an incident in which a firefighter ‘responded inappropriately’ after being handed a letter to comply with the city’s vaccine mandate,” a department spokeswoman said.

“The LAFD member responded to receiving the noncompliance letter by dropping his pants and wiping his buttocks with the letter, leaving fecal matter on the document, before dropping it to the ground, according to the Stentorians of Los Angeles City, a group representing African American firefighters,” the L.A. Times reported.

“The situation underscores the deep resistance among some within the Fire Department over the city’s mandate that employees be vaccinated,” the Times added.

The Firehouse, a publication for firefighters, reported earlier on the L.A. firefighters’ resistance to getting the jabbed. The troublesome resistance to the shots led the LAFD Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises money to support the department, to offer prizes. Some of those prizes included an Airbnb gift card, a home security system, a new bicycle, or a free ride from Lyft, according to the Firehouse.

“Vaccinated firefighters get entered into a raffle where the gifts include Canary home security cameras, Google Nest entertainment systems, Aventon fixed-gear bicycles and gift cards for Airbnb and Lyft,” according to a memo distributed by the fire chief.

If coercion doesn’t work, try bribery. That’s how “great” the mRNA shots are. Maybe they could try another tactic: Lift the immunity from liability given to big pharmaceutical companies.

Until then, the L.A. firefighter who responded with a vulgar act to the vaccine mandate got it right.
