Maxine Waters Goes on Depraved Rant: ‘I’m Told’ Capitol Riot Mob Was Organized by Trump Campaign

‘Auntie’ Maxine Waters unfurled a true ‘conspiracy theory’ on CNN Saturday. Absent any corroborating evidence whatsoever, she baselessly accused the Trump campaign of organizing the Capitol riot.

Waters was invited on by Jim Acosta, who recklessly allowed the partisan left-wing California Democrat to unfurl a real stemwinder about Jan. 6, all with the sole intention of smearing her political enemies. Watch:

“We’re talking about the Proud Boys. We’re talking about the Oath Keepers. We’re talking about the KKK,” Waters said. “KKK. We’re talking about Q Anon.”

This is the first anyone has ever heard about ‘the KKK’ being at the January 6th insurrection. If anyone has any videos of rioters in white hoods breaking into the Capitol building they are encouraged to forward those to the FBI.

“Right,” Acosta agreed without batting an eye, “But some of these Congressmen on the Republican side, Congresswoman, you know, Congresswoman Waters, are saying it was the FBI, now they are saying it is the FBI.”

This is not accurate. Congressmen such as Louis Gohmert, Republican of Texas, is asking whether FBI informants or undercover agents penetrated the actual far-right groups that showed up at the Jan. 6th Capitol riot and did nothing to thwart them. Big difference. Then again, this is CNN. Accuracy is not the network’s strong suit.

On Tuesday, Gohmert drew on questions that were posed by a Revolver News article referenced by Tucker Carlson to press for answers if the FBI penetrated far right groups like it did in the case of the Whitmer kidnapping plot. That plot was brought to a halt, in part because five of the fourteen ‘conspirators’ were undercover FBI agents or informants. The FBI’s agent-in-charge would go on to play a key role in the January 6th investigation. As we know, none of the far-right groups being monitored by the FBI were thwarted ahead of the Jan. 6th riots.

“They can say whatever they want to say,” Waters said. “You know. One of the things that we know is that we need a commission. And they are opposing a commission to find out who all was involved. Where did the money come from to send busloads of people in? Who supported them in all of this, and where was the organizing taking place?”

“I am told that there was organizing taking place right in the Trump campaign,” Waters baselessly claimed. “And so if they really concerned about why our capitol was invaded, and why there was an insurrection, they would support a commission to find out.”

“But they don’t want to know, because too many of them side with them, and support what they have done, and they are not going to call them to task for it,” Waters ridiculously argued. “It is outrageous what happened to us that the Capitol of the United States was invaded by domestic terrorists, and they don’t want to live up to it, and admit what took place.”

Again, these are extremely reckless and dangerous accusations. Many of these “domestic terrorists” were let into the Capitol building by the Capitol Police. It appears that no one was armed with firearms. No one was killed by protesters, regardless of the lies of the Biden administration and the media. (Officer Brian Sicknick was found by a medical examiner to have died from natural causes.)

“They call themselves patriots, but that speech you heard me give on the floor, I challenged their patriotism,” Waters rambled on. “And I told them that that they were not really patriots. And they’re the ones who claim to be more patriotic than anybody else. But I’m going to keep challening them, because they have joined in supporting literally the fact that not only were we invaded, there was a noose that was hanging at opening of the Capitol grounds threatening to hang even the vice president.”

There were no “capture and kill” teams in the Capitol building, as the media was forced to admit following January 6th. No one was armed. No one was killed, except for a Trump supporter. There was no “coup” attempt. No election could have been overturned by the far-right groups that breached the Capitol building.

The Democrats’ continual insistence of a narrative completely divorced from reality for malicious reasons poses the true threat to the republic, not some powerless fringe extremists who somehow evaded the FBI and made a futile display of stupidity at the Capitol that day.
