Mississippi’s Governor Fires Back at Biden Over ‘Neanderthal’ Jab

President Joe Biden insulted the Texans and Mississippians who were enthusiastically embracing their governors’ orders that will soon lift lockdowns restricting businesses in their respective states, as well as lifting state-wide mask mandates.

“We are on the cusp of being able to fundamentally change the nature of this disease,” Biden continued. “Because of the way which we were able to get vaccines … we’ve been able to move that all the way up to the end of the May. We have enough for every Amercan, every adult American, to get a shot,” he said.

“The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking,” Joe Biden said. “That, in the meantime, take off your mask, forget it. It still matters.”

Mississippi’s Governor Tate Reeves rejected Biden’s jab, and fired back with a message defending his state’s residents.

“President Biden said allowing Mississippians to decide how to protect themselves is ‘neanderthal thinking’,” Governor Reeves said. “Mississippians don’t need handlers. As numbers drop, they can assess their choices and listen to experts. I guess I just think we should trust Americans, not insult them.”

On Tuesday, Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves announced the state is effectively going back to being America.

“Starting tomorrow, we are lifting all of our county mask mandates and businesses will be able to operate at full capacity without any state-imposed rules. Our hospitalizations and case numbers have plummeted, and the vaccine is being rapidly distributed. It is time!” he tweeted.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott made the announcement just prior to Mississippi Governor Reeves.

“So today, I am issuing a new executive order that rescinds most of the earlier executive orders,” Abbott said. “Effective next Wednesday, all businesses of any type are allowed to open 100 percent.”

“That includes any type of entity in Texas,” the governor continued. “Also, I am ending the statewide mask mandate.”

Of course, President Joe Biden is upset that these states are deciding to do what is best for their citizens, instead of what empowers the government and un-elected “experts.”

However, America being the land of freedom and opportunity is what separates us from backwards despotisms around the world. Those tyrannical regimes reflect the true “Neanderthal thinking.”
