Biden immediately revealed to Vladimir Putin in Geneva that the Russian leader is dealing with a true lightweight. On Wednesday morning, the two finally met after Biden initiated an exchange of barbs over his “killer” comment directed at Putin.
When Biden showed up for the presentation, the “tough guy” talk was gone. Biden brought along flashcards, as if he hadn’t yet memorized his lines for a school play. Watch:

Biden continually kept playing with the flashcards: He fumbled them in his hands, laid them down on the table, picked them back up, and held him at his side like little paper security blankets.

In the evening prior, Biden also had flashcards. They were written in big print, as if the words were torn from a children’s book.
Joe Biden needs a flash card to remind him that he thinks everything is Trump’s fault.

Former Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell reminded everyone that things were much different under Trump.

It was actually Putin who needed the note cards.
As CNN reported about the summit, “Biden has come to the meeting with a binder of materials and cards printed out with bullet points.”
Meanwhile, as if to underscore that Putin has little respect for the U.S. president, the Russian Navy has been conducting military exercises about 300 to 500 miles west of Hawaii. On Sunday, the U.S. scrambled three F-22s to respond to long-range bombers, Fox News reported.
Before the summit, Putin was interviewed by NBC and was asked about Biden’s reference to him as a “killer.” Putin laughed and deflected the insult. On Monday, this was Biden’s response:

It looks like from the way Wednesday’s summit is going down, it is Donald Trump who is getting the last laugh.
