The State of Texas has thoroughly debunked the apocalyptic predictions the “experts” made when the governor lifted the mask mandates and the capacity restrictions on businesses on March 10th.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott recently announced that the state recorded zero COVID-related deaths in one day:
Today Texas reported:
* 0 Covid related deaths–the only time that's happened since data was tracked in March, 2020.
* the fewest Covid cases in over 13 months
* the lowest 7-day Covid positivity rate ever
* the lowest Covid hospitalizations in 11 months.
Thanks, Texans!

“Today Texas reported: *0 Covid related deaths–the only time that’s happened since data was tracked in March, 2020. * the fewest Covid cases in over 13 months * the lowest 7-day Covid positivity rate ever * the lowest Covid hospitalizations in 11 months. Thanks, Texans!” Governor Abbott tweeted.
Not only are the COVID-related deaths falling to the point where zero were recorded in one day, but cases and hospitalizations are way down. On Monday, it should be noted, 23 COVID-related deaths were recorded.
“According to the State dashboard, Texas reported just under 2,200 hospitalizations,” KVUE reported. “The last time Texas recorded that low amount of hospitalizations was June 11, 2020, on par with Abbott’s tweet sent Sunday.”
“The last time Texas recorded a single day of less than 500 cases was back in April 2020, when the State reported 422 cases on April 13,” the report added.
Dr. Fauci was asked in April why Texas hadn’t seen the often predicted surge. “I’m not really quite sure,” he said. “It could be they’re doing things outdoors.”
Fauci added in his MSNBC interview that it may take weeks to see any effects from re-opening the state on the number of COVID cases.
“I hope they continue to tick down. If they do, that would be great but there’s always the concern when you pull back on methods — particularly on things like indoor dining and bars that are crowded — you could see a delay and then all of a sudden tick right back up,” Fauci said.
“We’ve been fooled before by situations where people begin to open back up. Nothing happens and then all of a sudden several weeks later things explode on you, so we’ve got to be careful we don’t prematurely judge that,” he added.
The COVID case explosion never happened.
Texas has become one of the biggest targets for lockdown and mask advocates. The state has even hosted a baseball game with 100% attendance. Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis have also taken stands against COVID passports.
The development comes after the Biden administration vehemently decried the Texas policies in March. President Biden even said that states like Texas and Mississippi were guilty of “Neanderthal thinking” by re-opening their states:
“I think it’s a big mistake,” Biden said. “These masks make a difference.”
“We are on the cusp of being able to fundamentally change the nature of this disease,” Biden continued. “Because of the way which we were able to get vaccines … we’ve been able to move that all the way up to the end of the May. We have enough for every Amercan, every adult American, to get a shot,” he said.
“The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking,” Joe Biden said. “That, in the meantime, take off your mask, forget it. It still matters.”
Texans did take off their masks. And its COVID rates are far more favorable than they are in heavy lockdown states like New York and Michigan. Eventually, Americans in those states are going to catch on that masks and lockdowns are statistically ineffective against COVID. Whether or not they choose to hold officials accountable for needlessly violating their civil liberties is up to them.
