The FedEx Mass Shooter Has Been Identified After Killing 8 People — And It is Worse Than We Thought

The mass shooter who is responsible for the shooting deaths of eight people at an Indiana FedEx facility has been identified as 19-year-old Brandon Scott Hole.

Law enforcement sources disclosed the identity of the shooter to NBC News.

The suspect was known to be a threat to law enforcement, however, the individual was able to carry out one of the worst mass shooting incidents of 2021.

“Authorities were warned about FedEx suspect’s potential for violence in the past, sources say,” CNN’s Ana Cabrera wrote on Twitter. “The suspect in the Indianapolis mass shooting was known to federal and local authorities prior to the attack.”

“A family member of the suspected shooter reached out to authorities warning about the suspect’s potential for violence, according to three law enforcement sources briefed on the matter,” Cabrera added.

A previous encounter with a mental health behavior unit was reported by WTHR.

“13 Investigates has learned Hole had a previous encounter with police during a mental health call in 2020,” the news channel reported. “A behavioral unit was called to his home in March of 2020 on reports of a man voicing suicidal ideas. The unit encountered Hole, who had purchased a shotgun within 24 hours of the call.”

“At one point in the initial police dispatch audio, which you can listen to later in this article, dispatchers said the suspect was described as a ‘white male wearing a hat’ or hoodie and carrying a rifle type weapon,” Heavy reported.

“We have an active shooter currently at FedEx. They’re reporting at least five people shot,” the dispatcher said.

“This made me stand up and actually look out the entrance door, and I saw a man with a submachine gun of some sort, an automatic rifle, and he was firing in the open,” witness Jeremiah Miller told WISH. “I immediately ducked down and got scared and my friend’s mother, she came in and told us to get inside the car.”

It appears that at least two rifles may have been used in the shooting.

“We have the suspect here inside it looks like. Looks like he has a gunshot wound to the head. Two rifles here,” an officer said on dispatcher. “Unless there’s another person out, this is going to be our suspect here.”

The suspect is also deceased after killing himself.

The mainstream news media is reporting that a significant number of Sikhs worked at the FedEx facility; therefore, the authorities are looking into bias as a potential factor in a “hate crime.”

This is breaking news. It will be updated as more information is forthcoming.
