Tucker Carlson Rips the ‘Peak Lunacy’ of FDA Advisory Panel Recommending Covid Vaccines for Young Children

Tucker Carlson obliterated an FDA advisory panel’s decision to recommend 17-0 (with one abstension) that children as young as 5 years old be given the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines. The Fox News prime-time host reacted to news of the panel’s decision on Wednesday.

“An FDA advisory panel authorized an Emergency Use Authorization for the Pfizer vaccines, this one aimed at children ages 5 to 11,” Tucker said. “Mandates for children of those ages will soon follow, no question.”

“So, what does the science say about this?” he asked. “Well, it turns out that children of those ages are more likely to die of the annual flu than they are from Covid. Of the 73 million children in this country, fewer than 700 have died of [sic] Covid. CDC Data show that of the relevant age set – 5 to 11 – there have been nearly two million Covid cases but only 138 deaths total.”

“From March through October of last year, the height of the pandemic, a child had a one in a million chance of dying from Covid,” he went on. “Right now, by contrast, kids are ten times more likely to due of suicide. That’s the actual pandemic raging among young people.”

“Meanwhile, there are reasons to think that mandating vaccines for kids could be dangerous to them,” he added. “Pfizer still has not conducted meaningful clinical trials on young people. According to Pfizer, quote:

“Long-term safety of COVID-19 vaccine in participants 5 to <12 years of age will be studied in 5 post-authorization safety studies…”

In other words, approve our drug, make it mandatory for small children, and then we will tell you if it is safe,” he added.

Americans should look at the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee briefing document for themselves. The following passage refers to the one noted on Tucker Carlson’s show:

Long-term safety of COVID-19 vaccine in participants 5 to <12 years of age will be studied in 5 post-authorization safety studies, including a 5-year follow-up study to evaluate long term sequelae of post-vaccination myocarditis/pericarditis.

The Pfizer documents themselves reek of language one would expect to find in a marketing proposal rather than a scientific research summary where the researchers actually cared about the ethics and the validity of their claims. The ‘overall benefits conclusion’ section of the FDA panel briefing document highlights this point well:

“COVID-19 continues to be a serious and potentially fatal or life-threatening infection for children and there is a significant unmet medical need in the 5 to <12 years of age population.”

But Pfizer’s own documents elucidate how rare Covid-related (not caused) death is among the 5-to-11-year old population.

Based on CDC data, among children 5 to <12 years of age, there have been approximately 1.8 million confirmed and reported COVID-19 cases and 143 COVID-19-related deaths in the US through 14 October 2021.

This is what the level of risk looks like in CDC documentation when broken down by age group.

That would be a risk of Covid death for that population of 0.000% for every age in that bracket. The latest U.K. data show the same pattern.

One of the most damning exchanges at the FDA advisory panel’s meeting came from a doctor who couldn’t be more clear that Pfizer intends to use our children as ‘caged puppies‘ in their experiments on our children.

“We’re never gonna learn about how safe the vaccine is until we start giving it,” one FDA panelist actually said.

What, did he go to the Nancy Pelosi School of Medicine? This is unacceptable.

There is no Covid “emergency” for children. Therefore, there should be no Emergency Use Authorization of vaccines for children. It’s just that simple.
