The Capitol Police thought they had ‘got one.” After the Feds detained a suspicious man at the “Justice for J6” rally at the nation’s capitol on Saturday, it turned out they had actually arrested one of their own. Watch:
The Capitol Police officers, who report directly to the Congress, detained the man, who was carrying a firearm. The incident was captured on video by documentarian Ford Fischer.
“Earlier at ‘Justice for J6’ defendants rally: Police surround masked man reportedly armed with a firearm,” Fischer writes. “He tells them where the gun is, and they pull out his badge. He’s undercover law enforcement. Without disarming or handcuffing him, police extract him from the event.”
“Oh, you’re undercover?” the Capitol Police officer asked the man.
“I’m just here,” he replied. He informs the Capitol Police officer of his weapon as they verify his badge number.
Journalists kept asking for his name, but none was given. The Capitol Police officer get into formation and escort the undercover agent from the premises. It is unclear how many of the Justice for J6 rally were journalists or Feds, but rough estimate: A lot.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation will have to go back to the drawing board. It appears that pretty much only members of the press and FBI informants showed up to their staged ‘rally.’

Still seems like more press than protesters. Less than one demonstrator per member of Congress as the scheduled event begins. pic.twitter.com/6HQjeXKeVA

Lefty commentator Scott Dworkin noted MSNBC’s estimate only 200 attended the “GOP hate rally.”
MSNBC estimates 200 attendees at the GOP hate rally. Bahahahahaha.

The ‘Justice for January 6’ event didn’t really fool anybody.

The media and the FBI want this rally more than anyone else. https://t.co/j1yRpBWchi

Donald Trump earlier told supporters to stay far away from the “rally.”
“On Saturday, that’s a setup,” Trump said, referring to the rally. “If people don’t show up they’ll say, ‘Oh, it’s a lack of spirit.’ And if people do show up they’ll be harassed.”
There was, however, one potential “insurrectionist” who was arrested.
One arrest today near US Capitol, according to police. A man with a knife. At about 12:40p

Thank God all those Capitol Police officers in full riot gear were there to thwart another “insurrection.” Even though, of course, the FBI earlier determined there was not actually an “insurrection” on January 6, since there was no centralized plot to overthrow the election. No one was actually charged for an “insurrection,” either. It was a riot — just like all the hundreds of BLM/Antifa events that resulted in citywide damage, violence, and mayhem that the media forgot about the moment Joe Biden was declared the ‘winner’ of the 2020 election.
Meanwhile, there are still defendants who have been held for over seven months without trial over the riot, while BLM and Antifa rioters were immediately set free despite their crimes. D.C. elites obviously have no intention to let January 6 go, even though the rest of the country has moved on.
