President Joe Biden took a nasty spill while riding his bike near his weekend getaway home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on Saturday. It was caught on video. Watch:
One angle shows that he slammed his shoulder or head and neck area on the ground pretty hard.

Here is another angle.

Photographers snapped pictures of the president as he lay on the ground after the harrowing crash.
Biden had come over to say hello to a crowd near the Gordon’s Pond State Park bike trail that was yelling ‘Happy Father’s Day’ to the president before the wreck.
Ultimately, the 79-year-old Biden said ‘I’m good’ before dusting himself off and going on his way. Biden said to reporters that the cause of the fall was that he had trouble removing his shoes from the bike pedals.
The president reportedly did not need to see a doctor after the incident, according to the White House.
“As the President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine. No medical attention is needed. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family,” an official said.
The close call recalls the time in March 2021 when Biden fell down three separate times while clinging desperately to the guard rails:
Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House’s deputy press secretary at the time, attempted to explain the series of falls as due to the wind.
“It’s pretty windy outside. It’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself,” Jean-Pierre claimed. She added that Biden “is doing 100 percent.” However, there was only light wind at the time.
Later that month, Joe Biden had another close call while walking up the steps to Air Force One in the rain.
President Joe Biden is on pace to spend more time away from the White House than any of his recent predecessors, the Washington Examiner reported in June. Biden has spent more than a quarter of his first year in office in Delaware, usually on weekends.
“Every time I get a chance, I go home to Delaware. You think I’m joking. I’m not,” Biden said in February.
Since President Biden is nearly 80 years old, these falls could have turned out to be a lot worse than they were. At least when it comes to his physical health, the president has been lucky so far.
