Israeli jets attacked Hezbollah positions along the border with Lebanon on Saturday.

The terrorist group had attacked several Israeli army posts, and two big rockets hit one of them.

The IDF released a video on Saturday showing its retaliation in Lebanon for the attack.

There was more footage obtained of the Israeli strikes.

The fighting got worse the day after Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Hezbollah, said that his group is already fighting in a way that has never been seen before along the border between Lebanon and Israel.

Israel’s war in Gaza with Hamas, which is a supporter of Hezbollah, is getting close to a month old. He threatened to make things worse.

Nasrallah said, “Hezbollah is ready for all options, and we can use them at any time.”

Nasrallah also warned the United States against military intervention.

Hezbollah released a statement on Saturday saying that its forces struck at least six Israeli posts along the border with “appropriate rockets and weapons.” It stated that “direct hits were scored and technical equipment was destroyed.”

The Al-Mayadeen TV network in Beirut said that Hezbollah shot two Burkan rockets at an Israeli post called Jal al-Allam in Lebanon on Saturday. These rockets have heavy weapons. Someone in charge of security in Lebanon stated that Burkan rockets were used for the first time.

The rockets’ name in Arabic means “volcano,” and they have been used by Hezbollah and the Syrian government to destroy the defenses of fighters in the Syrian resistance.

They are one type of rocket or missile that Hezbollah has in its arsenal.

Al-Manar TV, which is part of Hezbollah, said that rebels shot down an Israeli military spy balloon that was over the town of Misgaf Am in the north.

The National News Agency, which is run by the government of Lebanon, said that attacks happened near other border towns, such as Labbouneh and Hibarieh.

Avichay Adraee, a spokeswoman for the Israeli military, wrote on X (which used to be Twitter) that Israeli jets, tanks, and artillery fired at the source of the fire on the Lebanon side of the border. They also hit some Hezbollah weapons caches, infrastructure, and posts that the Lebanese terrorist group uses.

The military conflict between Israel and Lebanon has been increasing since the attack on southern Israel by the terrorist Palestinian group Hamas on October 7. This attack killed more than 1,400 people and soldiers.

The Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon in retaliation for the Hezbollah attack represents a significant regional military escalation.
